Harm Reduction Without Judgment.
Respect, Safe Use, and Practical Help — Since 1988
“We know what it’s like to feel judged. That’s why we’re different — we’ve been there too.”
The Aotearoa Drug Information Outreach (ADIO) Trust is an independent charity working to reduce the harms associated with injecting drug use. Since 1988, we’ve helped protect the health and dignity of people who inject drugs — through practical support, non-judgmental care, and life-saving harm reduction services.
We neither condemn nor condone drug use. We meet people where they’re at — offering equipment and information that puts discretion, safety, and your needs first.
You can walk in, grab what you need, have a quick chat and get some advice — or just get your gear and go. It’s your call.
You don’t have to explain anything. You tell us what you need, and we’ll help you get it — no judgment, no pressure. We accept people who use drugs and are here to help you do this as safely as possible.
We provide free and low-cost services in Auckland Central, Manukau, Wellsford, Whangarei, Mount Maunganui, Hamilton, Rotorua and New Plymouth, including:
